Karthi’s peculiar character from his 25th film Japan, which was directed by Raju Murugan, was introduced through a teaser that was launched a few days ago. He was shown very serious and funny at the same time. Today, they dropped the film’s theatrical trailer.
The protagonist starts doing robbery at the age of 10 for his mother and he turns out to be a most wanted robber. Unfortunately, he is trapped in a big heist and a murder case. Who did these crimes- Karthi or someone else?
Although the premise looks serious, Raju Murugan made it an unusual escapade with hilarious moments all through. Karthi appeared in a totally entertaining character and his comic timing brought laughs. Anu Emmanuel is cool as the female lead.
Technically, the trailer looks solid with terrific BGM from GV Prakash Kumar, fantastic cinematography by Ravi Varman, and grand production design by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.
While the teaser has set good expectations, the trailer has taken them to another level. The movie will be released for Diwali through Annapurna Studios.
