BO: ‘Animal’ Beats ‘Arjun Reddy’ In Telugu States

Animal

Maverick director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s latest marvel is none other than “Animal” which has collected nearly ₹860+ crores gross from the worldwide box office. This being a Hindi film, many thought that it might not do well at the Telugu box office, though the director has taken good care of dubbing and all. Here’s an interesting report on the same.

Ace producer Dil Raju has other day confirmed with the media that “Animal” posted more than ₹60+ crores gross to date. According to trade circles, the film’s collections slowed down after the release of Salaar but the distributor is happy because it had its good three-week run already. And now, if we look at Sandeep Vanga’s previous and only Telugu film Arjun Reddy collections, we have to say that Animal has beaten it despite being a dubbed film.

Back then, Arjun Reddy collected nearly ₹50+ crores gross, thus clocking ₹26+ crores share in its full run at the Telugu box office. Now that Animal touched ₹60+ crores gross, surely the film did pretty much better than expected even in Telugu states with Rashmika Mandanna being the only known face of the movie. Well, that’s Vanga’s magic!
