Utsavam is a content-oriented family entertainer film starring a newcomer, Dilip Prakash and has Regina Cassandra as the female lead. Debut director Arjun Sai is directing the film and the teaser of the film called the Rehearsal of Utsavam is out now.
Content-oriented films about a good cause have become rare in Telugu. Utsavam is the story about the legendary Surabhi Natakalu. It is the journey about a few people who tries to revive the stage plays with Prakash Raj and Brahmanandham playing Surabhi Artists.
The dialogues like – ‘Kalakurudu Chanipovachhu gani Kala Chanipokudadhu’ and ‘Rangasthalam meedha enni patralu vesina kashtam anipinchaledhura.. kani ee rendu gantalu manishi patra chala kashtamanipisthundhi’ are so impactful and carry so much of depth instantly drawing attention towards the film.
Utsavam is a small film but that impression will be gone immediately after watching the teaser. We have big names like Prakash Raj, Nassar, Rajendra Prasad, Bramhanandam, L.B. Sriram, Priyadarshi, Amani, and others who have blended so well in the film and adds more appeal to the characters. The debutant hero Dilip Prakash is handsome and making him a good pair is the beautiful Regina Cassandra.
The makers did not compromise in the technical departments as well. It has camera by Rasool Ellore and Music by Anup Rubens. Both of them did a fine job in the teaser. The rest of the names – Bramha Kadali Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao are also big.
