#Ramayana: Interstellar Music Director Joins The Crew?

The upcoming magnum opus Ramayana, that will be directed by Nitish Tiwari is generating major buzz. With rumours of Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash playing Lord Rama, Sita, and Ravana respectively, the casting is already star-studded. But the latest rumour takes things to a whole new level – music by not one, but two Oscar winners!

A.R. Rahman, India’s musical maestro, was already confirmed to compose the film’s score. Now, reports suggest Hollywood legend Hans Zimmer, known for his iconic soundtracks in Interstellar,” “Dune: Part One,” and “Inception,” might join forces with Rahman. This collaboration promises an unparalleled musical experience for audiences.

While the Ramayana story has been retold countless times, Nitish Tiwari’s vision seems particularly grand. Planned as a three-part epic, the film reportedly begins shooting next month in Mumbai. The first part is slated for a Diwali 2025 release. With its stellar cast, legendary music duo, and ambitious scale, this Ramayana promises to be a visual and auditory spectacle.

On the other side, an official announcement regarding this Ramayana is likely to come up on April 17th, on the eve of Sri Rama Navami, in order to quash a few and confirm other exciting rumors.
