Attluntadi Tillu thone

In one of his interviews during the post-release promotions of DJ Tillu, Siddhu Jonnalagadda stated that he wants to score a 100 crore hit in the next three years. Well, it looks like his dream has finally come true. Tillu Square has clocked the 100 crore mark on its tenth day of its release and Siddhu is on top of the world.

Scoring a 100 crore hit is no joke, and even the tier two heroes who have done at least ten films in their career have not scored a single 100 crore film to date. But Siddhu has shown that when there is talent, no one can stop him.

If you go back in time, many stated that it is very hard to recreate the magic of DJ Tillu, and Tillu Square needs outstanding content. A few others said that Anupama’s bold role would not be appreciated by the audience. If this was not enough, Thaman walked out of the film at the last minute, creating so much tension.

Amidst all this, Tillu Square was released and opened with a bang. With Vijay Deverakonda’s Family Star taking a disastrous opening, Tillu Square’s collections have picked up drastically. In fact, the ninth-day collections of Tillu Square are better than the second day of Family Star.

In the days to come, the festivals of Ugadi, Ramadan, and long weekends will further enhance Tillu Square’s chances of touching the 150 crore mark at the box office. Mallik Ram directed Tillu Square, and Naga Vamsi, along with Sai Soujanya, bankrolled the film.
