Are Indian Viewers Ready To Accpet Allu Arjun’s New Film?

Allu Arjun and Atlee teamed up for a mega-budget project, which is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The film was announced a couple of months ago, and yesterday, Deepika Padukone was declared as one of the female leads. The makers released an announcement video, featuring Deepika and Atlee.

Until now, the team has released two videos, one with Allu Arjun and one with Deepika. Both videos featured actors going through technical preparations with a big VFX team and performing sequences in blue-mat studios. Thus, people are now speculating that most of the film might be shot in blue/green mat, just like various Hollywood biggies. But how this trend will be accepted by Indian audiences will be a big question.

Going by these behind-the-scenes videos, it is evident that Atlee is leaving no stone unturned to make this movie a visual epic, which has never been seen on the Indian screen before. But Indian cinema doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to producing these VFX-heavy films. Earlier, we had films like Kochadaiyan and Adipurush, which were mostly shot inside the studios.

However, they failed to perform well at the box office. Indian audiences still prefer watching the real faces of their favourite actors in real locations. So, there is a challenging task ahead of Allu Arjun and Atlee, and it has to be seen how they will convince the audience.
