Director Sandeep Raj’s first theatrical directorial Mowgli is gearing up for a grand release on the 13th of this month. The producers decided to fix the film’s ticket rates at 99 rupees in single screens.
People Media Factory earlier decided to fix the normal prices for their film Mirai and it worked like wonders at the box office. Now, everyone is curious to see if the same magic is repeated for Mowgli.
With minimal ticket prices, Mirai minted more than 150 Cr rupees and ended up being a huge blockbuster. However, the Akhanda wave would definitely be a threat to Mowgli. Even then, Mowgli can attract huge crowds who would not be interested in commercial films. But the A certificate for Mowgli will still prevent a section of families from watching the film.
The word of mouth will be crucial for Mowgli to register a success. Roshan plays the lead role in the film and he is relatively new to the audiences despite being the son of Rajiv Kanakala and Suma Kanakala. Additionally, Sandeep Raj do not have a big success to his name apart from OTT hit Colour Photo.
Having said and done, Mowgli can do the wonders and surprise many if hits the bull’s eye.
