Five Technical Pillars Power Champion!

Along with a compelling story and apt casting, a strong technical team plays an equally crucial role in presenting a film in the best possible manner and enhancing its narrative impact.

Swapna Cinema, in association with Zee Studios, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films, is backing the upcoming film Champion, starring Roshan and Anaswara Rajan.

Directed by Pradeep Advaitham, the film’s trailer was unveiled recently, offering a powerful glimpse into its world while highlighting the film’s remarkable technical finesse.

The trailer stands out largely due to the exceptional work of five key pillars of the film’s technical team—production designer Thota Tharani, cinematographer R. Madhie, music director Mickey J Meyer, editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, and stunt choreographer Peter Hein.

Their collective brilliance elevates the trailer to a top-notch cinematic experience.

Veteran production designer Thota Tharani has recreated the village of Bairanpally as it existed in 1948 with stunning authenticity. The detailing is so immersive that it transports the audience straight into the era, vividly capturing the social atmosphere of the time.

Complementing this rich visual world is cinematographer R Madhie, who lens the period setting with remarkable realism and finesse. His cinematography enhances the emotional depth and narrative tone, bringing the story to life frame by frame.

Music director Mickey J Meyer has already delivered a chartbuster album, with the first two songs, Gira Gira and Sallangundaale, becoming instant blockbusters. However, his true masterstroke lies in the trailer’s background score, which elevates the visuals and provides a deeply immersive experience.

Roshan is portrayed as a passionate football player with big dreams, whose journey takes a transformative turn as he rises to fight for his village against the oppressive Nizam rule. India’s leading stunt choreographer Peter Hein has designed the action sequences, and the glimpses seen in the trailer are nothing short of spellbinding.

Adding further strength to the trailer is the sharp and engaging edit by editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. His expert cutting maintains intrigue throughout, ensuring the narrative remains gripping and impactful.

The combined efforts of these five technical stalwarts have significantly enhanced the film’s visual and emotional appeal. With expectations soaring high, Champion is slated for a grand Christmas release on December 25th.
