Superstar Prabhas’ Sankranti release The Raja Saab came in with a lot of noise, but the film hasn’t really found its footing at the box office. The festive advantage didn’t quite convert into strong numbers.
What’s quietly shifted the conversation, though, is everything happening off-screen. As Sankranti rolled in, the film’s heroines shared festive pictures that instantly caught attention online. While box office discussions slowed down, these visuals started doing the rounds, pulling focus toward fashion, mood, and presence rather than collections.

Malavika Mohanan, who plays Bhairavi, leaned into a deep, classic aesthetic. Draped in a rich red saree, her look felt intimate and dramatic without being loud. The gajra, minimal jewellery, and warm lighting gave it an old-world calm, almost devotional in tone. It’s the kind of styling that doesn’t chase attention but ends up holding it anyway.

Nidhhi Agerwal, seen as Bessy, went in a completely different direction. Her floral saree, soft pearls, and easy smile brought a lighter, breezier energy. It felt candid and festive in the most natural way, like a moment caught between conversations. No heavy styling, no forced poses, just warmth and ease.

Riddhi Kumar, playing Anitha, turned things up with a sharper, more glamorous take. The flowing blue saree, statement earrings, and sense of movement gave her look a strong, confident edge. Elegant but bold, she owned the frame effortlessly, making it one of the most striking festive appearances from the cast.
The contrast is hard to miss. While The Raja Saab continues to struggle in theatres, its leading ladies are clearly soaring elsewhere. This Sankranti, the film may not have flown, but the heroines certainly did.
