Big News: Ex Minister Arrested In 100 Crore Scam!

It is already known that several cabinet ministers associated with the previous DMK administration in Tamilnadu faced countless allegations of financial misconduct and irregularities.

Now there is pretty significant action that is being taken against several names associated with the DMK. The latest addition to the list is Former cabinet minister Anbil Mahesh, who was very close to former CM Stalin.

Former Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh was arrested after Madras High Court rejected his anticipatory bail plea in a case alleging collection of over Rs 100 crore from private school managements in the guise of party fund during his 2021–2026 tenure.

This is one of the biggest arrests made by the Vijay government in Tamil Nadu as Mahesh has very good connections with the DMK leadership and is one of the big names in Tamil Nadu politics.

The previous DMK government faced several allegations of collecting public money in the name of party funds and CM Vijay vowed to take action on all of them. Now he is standing on his word as he has arrested a former minister, who had multiple corruption allegations against him.
