Dil Raju Acquires Toxic for ₹120 Cr on Advance Commission

Yash is set to appear in a Geethu Mohandas directorial after the massive success of the KGF franchise. His highly anticipated next film, Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has an enormous buzz across India. The film releasing worldwide release on March 19, 2026, the makers have officially kick-started the promotions with a banger teaser, amplifying excitement.

The film has immense buzz particularly in the Telugu states, fueled largely by Yash’s star power. The buzz has now reached a new level with ace producer Dil Raju joining hands with KVN Productions to distribute the film in the Telugu states. Dil Raju reportedly acquired the Telugu theatrical rights for a staggering ₹120 crore on an advance-commission basis.

Speaking on the deal, Dil Raju noted that Yash has grown into a formidable figure in Indian cinema since KGF 2, with anticipation for his next project building steadily over the past four years. The investment reflects SVC’s strong belief in Yash’s stardom and the film’s content, with the team excited to bring this prestigious project to audiences.

Key technicians shaping the film’s scale and vision include National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, composer Ravi Basrur of KGF fame. Adding global flair, Hollywood action expert JJ Perry, known for the John Wick franchise, along with National Award-winning duo Anbariv, have choreographed some of the film’s most crucial and high-octane sequences.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film has been shot simultaneously in English and Kannada, and will also release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and more. Jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set to ignite the festive frame with a nationwide and global release.
