Allu Arjun’s Marquee Multiplex in Kokapet will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on 12th of this month. Allu Arjun and the Allu family will be attending the event. After the inauguration, the management will have a series of Test Screenings and the Multiplex will officially open doors for the Public from Ugadi.
Out of the four screens here, three are normal screens and one is Dolby Cinema screen.
The audi with Dolby Cinemas specs are Dual 4K Laser Projection, Dolby Vision, Dolby 3D capability, and immersive Dolby Atmos surround sound. The auditorium has Pitch-black interiors for enhanced contrast, stadium seating for optimal viewing.
The remaining 3 screens feature high-end 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound, with luxurious seating options (including loungers in some auditoriums).
The Dolby screen in Pune is 55 feet. The one in Bengaluru is recognized as the first Dolby screen in the South and its width is 65 feet.
Now the third Dolby screen in India is going to be available in the form of Allu Cinemas. With a screen of 75 feet, it is recognized as the largest screen in Asia.
Now it has become interesting to see what the ticket rates will be. In Pune and Bengaluru, the ticket prices are normally 500 Rupees and will go up to 1,000 Rupees for big films and weekend as per the demand.
It was speculated that the theater management of Allu cinemas will request the Telangana Government and get a G.O. with special pricing.
But then, it is not the case. They are going with AMB Pricing only i.e., 295 for Normal Seats and 350 for Recliners.
The Plan is to increase the Footfalls and give Dolby Experience to the audience so that they do not go to other Multiplexes.
AMB is the market leader in Premium Multiplex Segment and this pricing is to capture their market.
The only issue for Allu Cinemas is that the road before the Multiplex is very congested. The two-lane road in front of Allu Cinemas urgently needs to be expanded to four or six lanes. Otherwise, it will be a Traffic Chaos.
