What Now! PM Modi Defends Dhurandhar & Kerala Stories

One of the biggest blockbusters of all time in the history of Indian cinema is currently unfolding in theatres in the form of Dhurandhar 2. The first part of this film was also a phenomenal success and at the same time, it faced certain complaints from a few political parties in the country.

Certain parties commented that this is a political agenda film that highlights the BJP government and projects it in such a way that all the spy activities happening in Pakistan and elimination of terrorism group heads is done by the existing government. Earlier, films like Kerala Story and Kashmir Files also faced similar complaints.

Now Prime Minister Modi himself has come forward to defend these films while addressing a massive public gathering the other day. He was very straightforward when it came to speaking out about this films.

“These opposition parties always cry out about films like Kerala Story, Kashmir Files and Dhurandhar. Their immediate response is to call these films lies and agenda oriented propaganda. These people don’t even have the courtesy to accept a fact for what it is.” Modi stated.

Not many people expected the prime minister of the country to openly speak about films like Dhurandhar 2 and try to clear out their poltical inhibitions. However, Modi appeared to be on a mission while looking to give positive credence to these films at a public medium.

But the common point between these films is that they cover the social problems that were faced in certain parts of India and how the new administration dealt with the same adequately. And as expected, the opposition parties claimed that these films are backed by BJP to spread positive propaganda on the party. Modi appears to be displeased with the same.
