Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is on a sensational run at the box office and is now just a step away from joining the elite club dominated by Pushpa: The Rule-Part 2 and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which were blockbuster hits at the box office.
As per the latest figures, Dhurandhar 2 has amassed a worldwide gross of around ₹1700 crore, with a strong overseas contribution of ₹400+ crore. This puts it very close to Pushpa 2, which stands at approximately ₹1,750 crore globally. Given the current momentum and the advantage of the ongoing weekend, trade experts believe that overtaking Pushpa 2 is very much on the cards.
However, the bigger question is whether it can surpass Baahubali 2, which still holds a massive worldwide total of about ₹1,790 crore. While the gap is not huge, sustaining the same pace in the coming days will be crucial.
What makes this race even more exciting is the strong overseas performance of Dhurandhar 2, which has already outperformed both films in that territory by grossing over 20 million already.
If the film continues to hold steady domestically and capitalizes on the weekend surge, it could well challenge the long-standing record. All eyes are now on how far Dhurandhar 2 can go in this historic box office battle.
