Viral Video: Chiranjeevi’s Satire on Media

Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the best engaging speech-givers in events. Chiru effortlessly invokes laughs with his speech and satires in it. The star did it yet again in a recent event and it is now going viral while he flew away to Udaipur to attend the #Nischay wedding.

Chiranjeevi was the chief guest at the Women Power Awards ceremony that was recently held to felicitate the women for their works in pandemic times. During his speech, Chiru started telling us how hand sanitizers have become a part of our lives now and brought up a funny incident with sanitizing his hands and threw soft satires at media houses for targeting him back then.

Chiru recalled the times of his Praja Ankita Yatra twelve years back. Chiru, after hugging and shaking hands with people at one location had to get on a bus to travel to the next stop. while the media followed him throughout the event. Chiru in his usual satirical tone with a smile, said that the media followed him not because they admire him but just to not miss to capture any small mistake that he does. While the other guests started laughing out loud, Chiru went on to mention that there are three or four channels that used to ‘love’ him more than anyone else. Chiru brought the house down when he asked Devi Nagavalli, to not recall those days and laugh.

Chiru got into the bus and sanitized his hands just to have some dates offered by someone in the bus. The media cameras following him captured everything, right from when he was offered the dates to sanitizing his hands. But they edited out everything and repeat-telecast only the part where he shook hands with the public followed by sanitizing his hands. Chiru laughed out loud saying that this was ‘beautiful’ editing done by not just one channel (pointing Devi Nagavalli) but many other channels as well. Chiru recalled the version telecast projected a wrong perception altogether that how Chiru is against touching his fans and how he will serve the public with this attitude. Chiru asked Devi to bring the video from their archives and telecast it now to see how the public will support him now. Chiru’s speech remained a highlight of the event and is going viral now.

There were actors like Rashmi Gautam, Syamala, Eesha Rebba, TV presenter Devi Nagavalli, doctors, nurses, police, and municipal workers among the felicitated women.
