What’s The Talk Of Sai Pallavi’s Hindi Film?

Ek Din brings Sai Pallavi into Bollywood for the first time, with a Telugu version released as Oka Roju. But the start has been quite dull.

Bookings were slow and openings are not impressive. Even with promotions, the film did not create strong buzz. The team focused mainly on Mumbai and the reach did not expand much beyond that. Junaid Khan plays the lead, but the film has not got the attention expected for a debut project linked to Aamir Khan.

The main issue seems to be the story. Sai Pallavi plays a girl who loses memory of a single day after an accident. The idea may sound emotional, but it feels very familiar. Audience has already seen similar memory loss love stories many times.

Because of this, Ek Din fails to offer anything fresh. The emotional angle, the love story setup, and the conflict all feel predictable. This seems to be one of the main reasons for the weak talk.

Another problem is reach. Even after dubbing, the film has not got proper release in many smaller centers. That further limits its chances.

Sai Pallavi is known for choosing strong scripts, so this selection comes as a surprise. However, she has bigger projects ahead like Ramayana Part 1, which is expected to bring her back into strong form.

For now, Ek Din is struggling to make an impact and the overall talk remains on the weaker side.
