Tamannaah Bhatia has shared her candid views on the differences between Bollywood and the South Indian film industry, shedding light on the challenges women often face in cinema. The actress also addressed the language used to describe dance numbers. Tamannaah said she dislikes the term item song, arguing that it reduces performers to objects rather than acknowledging their contribution as artists.
She emphasized that she has always chosen such songs on her own terms and prefers to view them as entertainment-driven performances rather than labels that diminish women.
