Balayya Started In Amaravati, Will Others Follow?

Nandamuri Balakrishna has always been one of the most dynamic personalities in Telugu Cinema and he is currently leading a new charge in the peoples capital of Amaravati. For the first time recent times, a mainstream Telugu film has been launched in Amaravati and it happened through Balakrishna’s upcoming film with Koratala Siva.

This highly anticipated action film was launched in Amaravati and it had IT Minister Lokesh in attendance.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Lokesh said Balakrishna is currently leading the charge for Telugu cinema to consistently move to Amaravati. He made it clear that certain efforts are being made to accommodate the Telugu film industry in the peoples capital of Amaravati and add another stream to the global city.

Even Balakrishna sounded extremely excited about this idea, as he said he will take it up on himself to ensure that Amaravati receives due diligence from the film industry. He commented that AP contribute 70% revenue to Telugu film industry and it should rightly be rewarded for the same.

Once the film shootings and launch ceremony, start to shift to Amaravati the city and also the state in general will receive a boost to economy and tax slabs as well.

This is exactly what the NDA government has been proposing for a long time now and it’s finally turning to reality with Balayya’s film with Koratala being the first big push. The real question is if the rest of the Telugu film industry plethora would follow suit and rightly contribute to AP.
