Can Re-Releases Pull Crowds This Weekend?

Samantha’s Maa Inti Bangaaram is one of the most successful Telugu films at the box office currently. Surprisingly, the film is performing well, has achieved big numbers, and is on its way to entering the 50 Cr club too. Meanwhile, the last week of June is looking dry, with the postponement of Lenin. However, there is a string of re-releases with which the audience will have to pass their time.

Interestingly, Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu is having a re-release for the nth time. The audience honestly lost count of watching the film’s re-release in theatres. Even then, it performs well and draws the attention of audiences. And then, we have Raj Tarun’s Cinema Chupistha Mawa, which was a good hit at the box office when it was released.

On the other hand, Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa is also having a re-release. The team is kicked about the response, and Prabhas’ cameo might pull in some people to theatres. Bandla Ganesh was planning to re-release Gabbar Singh, but he postponed it to give Peddi a proper release, without any distraction.

Also, HanuMan 3D version is hitting the screens, and we have to see if this will also be given the attention that the original film was given at the time of release. With advancements in technology and a better visual experience, the team hopes to score a hit.
