Full Dislikes, Shows Cancelled: What’s Happening To Most Hyped Film?

It wasn’t long before Christopher Nolan was seen as the modern God of global cinema as the kind of films that he had been making are far superior to any other. But things have been horribly wrong for his upcoming film, Odyssey which is releasing in theatres worldwide July 17.

With more than 450,000 dislikes, this trailer for this Odyssey happens to be the most number of dislikes for any film trailer in history. This is a shocking result for this film, which is made on such a huge budget and has some of the biggest stars in Hollywood while being directed by the legendary Christopher Nolan.

On top of that, the latest developments are suggesting that the team has even cancelled the influencer special screening that were arranged this week.

Instead, Nolan will directly screen the film for critics and reviewers shortly later. It appears that they have collectively decided to cancel the influencer screenings in order to mitigate any kind of negative publicity before the release.

When a film has such a huge star cast and is being directed by the legendary Nolan, it is expected to create a sensation globally before the release. But this Odyssey appears to be going the opposite way as it has emerged as the film with the most dislike trailer, while the special screenings are being cancelled before the release.

There are multiple factors contributing to this including poor visual references shown in the trailer, followed by woke casting choices. There is a full flooded negative campaign against this film, even before the release.

Generally, Nolan has one of the strongest positive images for any Hollywood Director across the globe, but certain decisions made with regard to this film have backfired. It has to be seen how this film would fare at the global box office with such a huge budget involved and a deterring negative reaction in place.
