Is Venky Atluri’s Project With Megastar Still On?

Director Venky Atluri has earned a strong reputation as one of the promising filmmakers in Telugu cinema. With back-to-back blockbusters and family dramas packed with entertainment and meaningful dialogues, Venky has carved a unique space for himself among the new generation of directors.

Humbled by these complements and comparision with Trivikram, Venky responds, “These are very big compliments. Trivikram Srinivas garu is a legend. I always looked up to him and his films even before I entered the film industry. I watched Nuvvu Naaku Nachav in 2001, and that film inspired me. It made me admire him and his work. He has a great mark on me.”

Talking about the terrific response to Vishwanath And Sons in theatres, Venky shared that he is overwhelmed by the massive success, which he admits is a first in his career. He said he is enjoying the success of VAS.

Has Trivikram suggested any changes during the film’s editing? Venky shared, “Director Trivikram garu is officially part of the film’s production through Fortune Four Cinemas. So, he gets to watch all my movies well before their release. For my past films, he had suggested some changes on the editing table, but for Vishwanath And Sons, Trivikram sir didn’t suggest any changes. This shows how much he had liked the film beforehand.”

Responding to Trivikram’s first reaction after the film’s release, Venky said, “Trivikram garu watched it after the release. He said he loved it completely.”

What is Venky’s next film? He shared, “For a few more days, I’ll be promoting Vishwanath And Sons. After that, I’ll work on my next.”

When asked about his proposed film with Megastar Chiranjeevi, Venky admitted, “Yes, a film with Chiranjeevi garu is on. I’m yet to narrate a story to Megastar garu.”

On whether his next film will also be with Sithara Entertainments, he quipped, “Yes.”
