Sailesh & Karthi’s HIT 4 Moving Faster Than Expected

Sailesh Kolanu is currently busy with Emo Emo Idi, a romantic comedy starring Roshan Meka, and he will take up the HIT 4 script after wrapping up this film. While many expected the fourth part to take more time after HIT 3, things now seem to be moving much faster than expected.

As per our sources, Karthi has reportedly given his green signal, with his dates expected to be available from mid 2027. The dialogue version draft is expected to be ready by December this year.

The HIT franchise is now gearing up for its fourth installment with Karthi in the lead as Veerappan and Sailesh Kolanu returning as director and Bankrolled By Nani. The shooting is likely to commence next summer, once the script work and pre production works are completed.

The franchise has already delivered three successful films with Vishwak Sen, Adivi Sesh and Nani in the lead roles. Each story introduced a different police officer while remaining connected to the larger HIT universe.

However, franchise followers have been discussing how the tone has changed over the films. While the first part impressed with its investigative intensity and grounded treatment, some feel that the intensity gradually reduced while the violence increased.

This is where HIT 4 becomes a crucial film for Sailesh. With Karthi entering the franchise, expectations will be much higher, and the director cannot afford to simply repeat the template of the previous films.

The biggest challenge will be to deliver a gripping investigative thriller that connects equally well with Telugu and Tamil audiences. The combination of Karthi and Sailesh looks exciting on paper, but getting the story and screenplay right will be the real test.
