Superstar Mahesh Babu was busy until recently, working on the prestigious film Varanasi. A few days ago, he wrapped up his portions for the film, which is big news. Usually, Rajamouli takes his time wrapping up a shoot, but this time he has given Mahesh the go-ahead to move ahead. Today, Mahesh was spotted at the airport, sporting a new clean-shaven look, delighting the fans.

Usually, Mahesh loves a clean-shaven look whenever he is not working, or even during shoot breaks. This is probably the first time in one and a half years we get to see Mahesh clean-shaven. Ever since he started working on Varanasi, Mahesh has followed a strict diet regimen, look regimen, and avoided public appearances as much as possible.

Now that Mahesh has wrapped up his part in Varanasi, he is likely to relax for a while before deciding on his next film. Probably, the promotions of Varanasi will likely begin from the new year, and until then, Mahesh can make use of this time to listen to fresh scripts and decide what he wants to mount as his next film.

When it comes to Varanasi, Rajamouli completed all major portions of the shoot and is occupied with re-recording as well as other post-production works. Bankrolled by Durga Arts, the film will hit the screens on April 7, 2027.
