Hanuman Ansh has created a sensational milestone at the box office by crossing the 400 crore gross mark on its 52nd day. What makes the achievement even more special is the scale at which the film was made.

Made on a reported budget of just 2 crore, Hanuman Ansh opened to around 10 lakh. Nobody would have expected such a small film to turn into a massive box office phenomenon and continue its dream run for more than 50 days.

The film has been showing remarkable consistency even after completing seven weeks. Despite entering the later stages of its theatrical run, Hanuman Ansh is still managing to collect decent numbers across several markets.

The film is also performing strongly in overseas markets. The steady collections there have played an important role in pushing the overall gross towards the ₹400 crore milestone.

Interestingly, the film missed a good opportunity in the Telugu market after Trivikram reportedly backed out of the Telugu deal at the last minute.

Considering the film’s extraordinary performance, the Telugu business could have added another interesting chapter to its box office story.

50 plus day theatrical run with healthy collections is almost unprecedented for a film of this scale. Hanuman Ansh has gone far beyond its initial expectations and continues to create new milestones.

The ₹500 crore mark will certainly be a tough target from here, but with the film still enjoying a long and healthy run, it cannot be completely ruled out. It has already turned into one of the biggest box office surprises of recent times.
