Ever since Nani and Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise turned out to be a disappointment and garnered mixed talk from various sections, all eyes are on director Srikanth Odela’s next with Megastar Chiranjeevi which will be co-produced by Nani.
In a first candid conversation after The Paradise release, Nani opened up on the issues surrounding The Paradise and what went wrong and how Srikanth Odela might have learnt his lessons.
Nani first reasoned that there were logistic issues that led to The Paradise’s underperformance. Nani also admitted that The Paradise could have been much better. He, however, said Srikanth Odela has very strong ideas and Nani has a lot of faith and belief in Srikanth’s talent and he would bounce back again with his next.
When asked about Srikanth Odela’s next film with Chiranjeevi for which Nani turned into producer, Nani said, “Due to. The Paradise’s delay, Chiranjeevi sir moved onto his other projects and other commitments. I have not met Chiranjeevi sir yet after Paradise. Once we sit, we may get clarity on it.”
Nani said the lesson learnt is that no matter how long a film takes to complete, be it 3 years or 5 years, the long duration of the time should be spent either in prep or post, but not during the filming of the film.
Meanwhile, Nani stated that he will collaborate with Srikanth Odela as he believes he has got a great talent and he is raring to go from here. Nani stressed that his statement about Srikanth may surprise many, but he added that everyone will get to know about Srikanth later and then they will understand my statement.
The key takeaway is that Chiru – Srikanth Odela film may take time due to Chiru’s other commitments and busy schedule. The blessing in disguise is that The Paradise result hasn’t affected Nani and Srikanth’s bond.
