Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are testing their luck together for the first time after their wedding with Ranabaali. Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film is hitting the screens on the 16th of this month. The lead pair is in Chennai as part of the promotions and got a chance to meet Tamilnadu CM Joseph Vijay. Rashmika earlier acted with Vijay and their pair was a big hit in Varisu.

Post their meeting, Vijay Deverakonda shared the pictures on X and wrote his thoughts. This was the first time that Vijay is meeting Thalapathy Vijay. Vijay Deverakonda described that Thalapathy Vijay has become his favourite just in one meeting, which shows the kind of affection that Thalapathy could have showered on this pair.

Of late, Vijay is extremely busy with the administration affairs but still he took some time out of his busy schedules to meet the Ranabaali pair and extended his heartfelt wishes and congratulations on the eve of the new release.

Set in the 1870s against the backdrop of the devastating Great Madras Famine of 1876–78, the story of Ranabaali follows a folkloric warrior and his village in Rayalaseema rising up against British colonial rule and exploitative tax and grain policies. The film is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and is having a good release in Tamilnadu despite the clash with Jailer 2.
