Prabhas Keeps Moving Ahead, But His Sequels Are Still Behind

Prabhas is one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. He is doing back to back Pan-India films and has a lineup that no other actor currently has. He is working on several exciting projects. However, fans are now facing a different problem. Even though Prabhas is doing films continuously, his sequels are taking a long time to reach theatres.

The biggest example is Kalki 2898 AD. The first part was released in 2024 and became a huge hit at the box office. The film created massive expectations for its second part. But fans are still waiting for a clear update about Kalki 2’s release.

The shooting of the sequel began this year in 2026 that is almost two years after the first part’s release. Now the film is facing more delays due to changes in shooting schedules. According to reports, two Mumbai schedules were cancelled due to Tiger Shroff’s attack and Amitabh Bachchan’s fever. Fresh schedule featuring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Sai Pallavi is expected to begin in mid-November. So Kalki 2 may take more time than expected to reach theatres.

The situation is the same for Salaar 2. The first part of Salaar was released in December 2023 and received a strong response. However, the shooting of its sequel has not yet started. Fans who loved the first part are eagerly waiting to see what happens next in the story.

Prabhas is currently busy with multiple films, but his most-awaited sequels are moving slowly. While his new projects continue to create excitement, his fans are also hoping to see the next parts of their favourite films soon.
