Talented Hero Survived On Biscuits Until His Debut

Rajkummar Rao is one such actor in Bollywood who made it big all by himself without any background or a Godfather to support. He is now known as one of the most versatile, finesse actors in Hindi film industry. Moreover, his fan-following is only growing rapidly for his uniquely chosen scripts.

Rajkummar is now rich and famous. But things were not easy for him before entering films. The actor opened up about the ordeals he had to face before all this fame and recognition. In the beginning, Rajkummar gave several auditions for ads and films, but he was kept rejecting. But, the actor did not lose hope. He also revealed that he received only 11,000 as remuneration for his first film.

Talking about the struggles when he did not have money, Rajkummar said that he used to survive only on water and biscuits. But when he could afford some food, he would go and eat Rotis at a nearby restaurant. Born in Gurugram, Rajkummar came to Mumbai with a lot of hopes and a little amount of money, only to struggle all odds in search of fame.

Though he started getting film offers, Rajkummar's major problem, finance, has still remained intact. But after hit film Ragini MMS, he got films that gave him in lakhs. The actor said that in spite of small films, they did good business at the box office and people started recognizing him. After acting in Love Sex Aur Dhoka, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap offered Gangs Of Wasseypur film, following many big-budget films.
