Acharya Is A Once In A Lifetime Opportunity: Ram Charan

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya is hitting the screens on the 29th of this month. The film is directed by Koratala Siva. The film is carrying a lot of expectations and the makers organized the pre-release event today in Hyderabad. Ram Charan began his speech, thanking all the film’s technicians.

“The learning I had from my father all these years is nothing in front of the learning I had by closely witnessing him during this film’s shoot,” revealed Ram Charan.

“Rajamouli keeps his actors completely in his control like Prakash Raj controls Siddharth in Bommarillu. He will not allow his actors to do another film until he completes the shoot. But, when he realized that Acharya is my mother’s dream project, he allowed me to join the shoot of Acharya. On behalf of my mother, I extend my thanks to Rajamouli garu,” said Ram Charan.

“I planned to do a film with Siva garu earlier but things did not work in our favor. But, destiny united us for this prestigious project where I shared my screen space with my father. I feel very lucky for the same,” said Ram Charan.

“I always wondered how Siva garu’s films cross 100 Cr rupees but then I realized it one day. When there is strength in content, the actors need not over-act. There is that strength in Siva garu’s content. I am fully satisfied as an actor,” opened up Ram Charan.

“Dhruva, Rangasthalam, and RRR are the films very close to my heart. When RRR was released, everyone praised me saying that I worked hard. But, in reality, I loved doing the film and I did not work very hard. I had the same feeling while working for Acharya. Thank you Siva garu for giving me the opportunity,” mentioned Ram Charan.

Ram Charan also clarified that his part as this film’s producer is very less. “It is Niranjan Reddy garu who produced the film. We just presented the film under my mother’s name,” clarified Ram Charan.

“If there is a non-corrupted industry in India, it is the only film industry. I am feeling proud that I am a part of this film industry. I did not study well but the Acharya in my home guided me so well. My father never criticized me and let me do what I want,” said Charan, adding, “Even if he has to criticize someone, he does it with a sweet coating.”

“I had the best 20 days in my life to travel with my father during the film’s shoot. I am not waiting for another opportunity to work with my father and Acharya is a one-lifetime opportunity for me,” concluded Ram Charan.
