BRS leader and former MLC Kavitha has stepped up her criticism of senior party leader Harish Rao, launching one of her strongest attacks yet. During her visit to Suryapet on Sunday, Kavitha openly accused Harish Rao of dominating party decisions and pushing BRS in the wrong direction.
Kavitha questioned the way BRS MLAs behaved during the recent Assembly session, alleging that several leaders acted only on Harish Rao’s instructions. She criticised the decision to stage a walkout, saying it damaged the party at a time when important bills were being discussed. According to her, leaving the House weakened BRS instead of protecting its interests.
Taking her criticism further, Kavitha accused Harish Rao of creating internal groups within the party and sidelining collective leadership. She alleged that his decisions over the years played a major role in harming both the party and key state projects.
Kavitha also targeted Harish Rao over water and irrigation related decisions, claiming past approvals and policy shifts led to long term losses for Telangana. She warned party leaders against blindly trusting him, saying such leadership would only lead to further decline.
