Despite the strong measures of the police department regarding crimes against women, we are witnessing multiple such activities on a daily basis even to this day.

Now we have a shocking addition to the list as a minor girl was brutally assaulted by a group of men, and this incident has happened in the heartland city of Hyderabad.

According to the police complaint, some of the accused were known to the 16 year old victim. They allegedly gave her intoxicating substances, including alcohol and drugs, and took her to different locations.

The girl was allegedly assaulted in a car, at Kompally, Doolapally, Bollaram, and even during a train journey. She was also allegedly confined in a house before escaping and reaching home.

After her family approached the police, Alwal Police registered a case under the POCSO Act and other relevant sections.

Police are investigating how the intoxicating substances were provided and whether more people were involved. A total of nine people are booked in this case till now, including the OYO owner who accommodated this activity in the first place.
