
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu offered silk robes to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala as part of the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams. He participated in the rituals along with his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari.
Chandrababu arrived at the Tirumala temple in traditional attire and presented the silk robes on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh government as per tradition. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Executive Officer Ravichandra and board members welcomed the CM and his wife.
Nara Bhuvaneswari, Minister Nara Lokesh and his wife Brahmani also had darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
After the rituals, Chandrababu said it was his good fortune to offer the silk robes to the Lord on behalf of the State government. He prayed for good rainfall in Andhra Pradesh and the well-being and prosperity of the people.
He also prayed for India to progress further and for Andhra Pradesh to emerge as one of the best-performing states in the country.
The Chief Minister appreciated the TTD board and officials for the way the Tirumala temple is being managed.
