Indraja Serious On Theatre Allocation For Anakapalli

Indraja Anakapalli

The success of a film is ultimately measured by the response it receives from its audience, and actress Indraja believes Anakapalli has earned that success through its content. However, she also admitted that the film’s small theatrical presence has left her disappointed. Starring Vikram Sahidev, the film was directed by Khagesh Tammineni, and bankrolled by Kandregula Naidu and Thrinadha Rao Nakkina.

Addressing the thank you meet of Anakapalli, Indraja said she was delighted to witness the overwhelming appreciation for the movie. At the same time, she questioned why a film that has received such strong word of mouth was not given enough theatres and screens.

According to the actress, almost everyone who has watched Anakapalli has responded positively, particularly appreciating the emotional aspect of the story. She described the audience reaction as genuine and said the film has managed to touch viewers in a meaningful way.

For Indraja, the situation also reflects a significant change in the way audiences approach cinema. She observed that moviegoers are increasingly looking beyond star power and industry credentials. The names attached to a project are no longer enough to convince audiences to watch a film. Instead, the film itself has to deliver.

Indraja said viewers today simply want to know whether a movie is worth their time and whether it can connect with them emotionally. She believes Anakapalli has succeeded on both counts.

She urged theatre owners and the industry to provide the film with better screen availability in the days ahead. In particular, she encouraged girls, women, mothers and families to watch the film together, expressing confidence that its emotional content would resonate strongly with them.
