The Lady IAS Against ‘Illegal Encroachments’, Dies

Senior IAS officer T.K Rama Mani has died on Thursday due to illness. Going to details, Rama Mani She came to his relatives’ house at Pandaripuram in Guntur on Wednesday night and on Thursday she complained of high fever.

Rama Mani was admitted to Guntur Government Hospital but while undergoing treatment, she died. The 56 years old belongs to 2010 batch and she worked as secretary to Commercial Tax Commissioner and Anantapur district Joint Collector. As Anantapur Joint Collector, Rama Mani was credited for protecting the government lands for Kia Motors factory from illegal encroachments.

Learning about Rama Mani’s death, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Praveen Prakash, and senior IAS officer Peeyush Kumar and Guntur district Collector I. Samuel Ananda Kumar visited the GGH and paid their respects.

Rama Mani was born in Nandyal and father is TKR Sarma who was a freedom fighter and worked as MLA too.
