The Montgomery Police have apprehended a suspect in connection to the recent fatal shooting incident. On Sunday evening, officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Eastern Boulevard where they discovered the victim, 25-year-old Akhil Sai Mahankali, with a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Mahankali succumbed to his injuries. The police have since charged 23-year-old Raviteja Goli of Montgomery with manslaughter, who was arrested at the crime scene and is now being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
