Studying in the US is already an expensive affair compared to other countries. Tuition fees, hostel& travel expenses, and food costs have all increased. Additionally, with the rising value of the dollar, the financial burden on students’ families has grown significantly.
Moreover, securing a job after graduation has become increasingly difficult. Companies are becoming reluctant to hire foreign nationals. The process for obtaining a work visa has also become more challenging. Many companies have reduced their applications for H-1B visas. As a result, job opportunities for international students have diminished drastically.
In this situation, Indian students are turning to the central government for support. They are urging the government to engage in discussions with the US authorities to secure their future and seek their support.
