According to the reports from Washington, an Indian tech entrepreneur allegedly shot dead his wife and one of his sons. Later, he shot himself dead. The incident took place at their home last week in Washington. The couple’s other son was not at home and hence survived.
Harshavardhana S Kikkeri, aged 57, is the head of the family, and his wife, Shwetha Panyam, aged 44, and their 14-year-old son died during the shooting. The cops immediately responded to the emergency situation, but the reason for the provocation is not clear yet.
The neighbours reportedly informed the media that the family is friendly but reserved. No one was able to estimate the cause for the extreme decision that the family has taken.
Harshvardhan S Kikkeri hailed from KR Pet Taluk of Mandya district. He was the founder and CEO of HoloWorld, a robotics company headquartered in Mysuru. His wife was the company co-founder. In 2017, they co-founded the company, and later, they returned to the USA after the COVID pandemic.
Harshavardhan earlier worked at Microsoft in the USA and also met Narendra Modi to pitch the usage of robots for border security.
