U.S. Visa Holders Beware! Embassy Warns

The volume of Indian student and immigrant population traveling to the United States in the last five years has been on a constant upward trajectory. This trend is not likely to slowdown in the near future either.

In the meanwhile, the United States immigration policies have started to tighten with the answer of the Donald Trump administration in the country. In particular, the temporary visa restrictions are getting continuously tightened and refined.

In another one such update, it has been established that the United States Embassy in India has warned the visa holders to be wary of the prevailing rules and regulations of the U.S. visa.

U.S. visa screening does not stop after a visa is issued. We continuously check visa holders to ensure they follow all U.S. laws and immigration rules, and we will revoke their visas and deport them if they don’t, the statement from the US Embassy read.

Back in the day, the rules and regulations were rather softened and Indian immigrants were leisurely allowed for part-time gigs and related activities. But that might not even be the case remotely as the United States administration is starting to crack down heavily on the immigration policies.

The US visa holders are now advised to continue to follow these immigration policies, even after their arrival in the United States or they will be risking deportation. This is a pretty strong statement of power from the United States, Embassy.
