The United States has been witnessing increased intensity of mass shooting incident in the recent past and now we have another new addition to the list. This time it is Salt Lake City in the United States, which is witnessing a horrifying situation due to a mass shooting.
According to the latest developments, at least two people are dead and three injured following a shooting near an LDS Church on Redwood Road in Salt Lake City, Utah.
It is now being established that the authorities have identified that at least 8 people have been shot in this incident while the causalities are likely to go up.
Police have arrested a man after a shooting outside a funeral being held at an LDS church in Salt Lake City. Authorities confirm all victims are adults and state the shooting was not random and not religiously targeted.
Reacting on this incident, Salt Lake City Police department stated “We are on scene of a shooting at 660 N. Redwood Road. 2 people were killed and at least 6 more have been injured with at least 3 of those in critical condition.
The suspects are still outstanding, but our officers have obtained solid leads and are working to locate those involved. Redwood Road is closed in both directions from 500 N to 700 N.”
