Indian Among Two Dead as Missile Debris Falls in Abu Dhabi

Iran continued to bombard the UAE by targeting several sites, like energy infrastructure. In one such missile attack, an Indian and a Pakistani citizen were killed in UAE’s Abu Dhabi by the debris from a missile interception.

Another Indian citizen and a Jordanian national were among three others who suffered injuries, according to a communique by Jordan’s foreign ministry. Jordan condemned the Iranian attack on sisterly UAE. The incident occurred in Sweihan stree of Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi authorities responded to an incident involving falling debris, following the successful interception of a ballistic missile by air defence systems, Abu Dhabi media office said in a statement.

The UAE has reported 11 war-related deaths across the country, including the latest casualties, according to a report in Gulf News. Over 166 people were injured in the conflict during the same period. The deceased Indian’s identification is yet to be ascertained.

In the ongoing war, UAE air defences have engaged 357 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,815 UAVs.
