Going into the heartbreaking story, in Shreveport, Louisiana, in the US, 8 children aged between 1 and 14 lost their lives in a shooting described as a “domestic disturbance”.

Police indicated that the attack left a total of 10 people struck by gunfire and unfolded across three different locations during the early hours of Sunday. The alleged perpetrator died after being shot by police in Bossier City.
