United States, president, Donald Trump had been making it extremely hard for the Indian population in the United States to sustain and have a healthy life there. Constant immigration rule changes and cracking down on illegal immigrants has been troubling a section of the Indian communities there.
However, the latest development are suggesting that the United States president could be getting on his way to India very soon, and this was confirmed by a member of his administration.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the India-US trade deal is on the brink of being finalised and confirmed that planning is underway for a visit by US President Donald Trump to India in the early part of next year.
Apparently, President Trump will visit India early in 2027. The visit plan comes as the two countries push to finalise a long-awaited trade deal and deepen ties across energy, defence and technology.
This will also be the US President’s first visit to India since relations between the two nations were strained over the US’ imposition of over 50% tariffs against Indian imports. The last time Trump visited India was back in February 2020 and after awaiting period of six years, he could finally be sitting food in India again.
