Just hours after the news of a Karnataka woman dying by suicide in Uganda due to marital discord came to light, a similar tragedy unfolded in Kuwait. This time, it was a Telugu woman who died by suicide.
As per reports, a 44 year old Telugu woman named Renuka died by suicide in Kuwait recently. She belonged to Gundlakandriga village in the Erpedu mandal of Tirupati district.
For the last few years, Renuka lived in Kuwait and worked as a housemaid in a home there. She moved to the Gulf nation a few years ago to work and earn money for her family back home.
Renuka ended her life three days ago at her workplace. Right now, no one knows the exact reason why she took this extreme step. Her family and relatives are shocked and unable to come to terms after they came to know about the news.
After her death, some people from Telugu community completed all the legal work to bring her body back to India. Her body arrived at her home village on Thursday. Renuka is survived by her husband and two children. Her sudden death has broken the hearts of her family members, and they are in deep sorrow.
