US Strike Hits Wedding Party In Iran, Child Among 5 Victims

A US strike in southern Iran has reportedly hit a home where a wedding celebration was taking place, according to Iranian officials and state media. The incident occurred in Kuhestak, in Sirik County, Hormozgan province.

The Iranian Red Crescent initially reported four deaths, including a child, while other reports later put the toll at five.

More than 50 people were reportedly injured in the attack, with visuals from the location showing significant damage to the residential building.

The strike came amid a fresh wave of US military attacks against Iranian targets, as tensions between Washington and Tehran have sharply escalated especially after Trump’s recent indications.

The US military said its operations were aimed at Iranian military infrastructure, including air defence, radar and maritime assets. It was not immediately clear what was targeted in the Sirik area.

Iran has condemned the incident and vowed retaliation against the United States. The latest exchange of attacks has raised fresh concerns over a wider escalation in the region.
