Fatima Sana Shaikh’s latest film Gustaakh Ishq, co-starring Vijay Varma, has had a tough run. Even with decent buzz before release, the movie couldn’t survive the heavy competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which opened strongly with ₹20 crore. In its first six days, Gustaakh Ishq collected around ₹1.60 crore in total, and day 7 stayed below ₹10 lakh. Made on a ₹42-crore budget, the film couldn’t reach expectations and sadly ended up as a flop. This year has been a bit rough for Fatima at the box office, as she also appeared in Metro… In Dino and Aap Jaisa Koi, both of which didn’t perform as hoped.
Her new pictures, though, have taken over social media in a completely different mood. Fatima is seen in a soft nude-peach saree paired with a stylish embellished blouse, looking elegant and effortlessly bold at the same time. The minimal makeup, classic jewellery and her calm pose gave the photos a slow, confident charm.
