US Businessman Found Dead in Hyderabad Hotel

A 41-year-old American businessman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a star hotel in Hyderabad’s Gachibowli area. The incident came to light on Thursday evening.

The deceased was identified as Mitchell Brian Lee, a resident of California, United States. He reportedly arrived in Hyderabad on November 2 along with his business partner David for a business trip. Both were staying at a hotel in Gachibowli.

According to reports, Brian Lee had not responded to phone calls since the evening of November 4. Hotel staff became suspicious after failing to get a response from his room.

On November 5, around 6:30 PM, hotel employees opened the room on the 12th floor using a master key. They found Lee lying unconscious on the bed and immediately alerted emergency services.

An ambulance reached the hotel, but medical personnel declared him dead after examining him.

Gachibowli police reached the spot, collected details and took custody of the body. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.

Police are yet to establish the exact cause of death. The post-mortem examination is expected to provide more clarity. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and are looking into all possible angles.
