Achannaidu arrest sent shockwave yesterday, and here is yet another arrest of TDP leader within 24 hours. JC Diwakar Reddy’s brother Prabhakar Reddy and his son Ashmit Reddy were arrested today.
Anantapur police took Prabhakar Reddy and Ashmit Reddy into custody and later announced their arrest. The allegation behind the arrest is said to be the fraud sale with registrations done on BS3 vehicles by showing them as BS4 vehicles with forged documents.
Officials focused on these reports and found astonishing details. With these fake documents, as many as 154 vehicles are found to be registered in Nagaland. JC Prabhakar Reddy and Ashmit Reddy were arrested for allegations on defrauding using fake NOCs and insurances. Already there are 24 cases filed against JC travels in fake registrations allegations under sections 420, 467, 468, and 471. One Nageswara Reddy filed a complaint against Prabhakar Reddy at Tadipatri police station
Anantapur police arrived in Hyderabad by today(Saturday) morning and headed straightaway to JC Prabhakar Reddy’s residence, arrested him and his son Ashmit Reddy. Prabhakar Reddy and Ashmit Reddy are being moved to Anantapur now.
Achannaidu’s arrest shocked TDP cadre and senior leaders yesterday. JC Prabhakar Reddy’s arrest is sure to cause anxiety among them.
