AP CM YS Jagan landed in Vizag a few minutes back and this trip to the beach city is just for two hours and Jagan is expected to return to Tadepalli camp office by lunch hour. What is the reason behind this short trip?
Apparently Jagan will be meeting Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar in Vizag. The Haryana CM is on a personal tour to Vizag and he is getting treated in naturopathy at Pema Wellness resort located at Rushikonda.
But the real purpose of meeting has to do with politics. There is buzz that Manohar Lal Khattar is likely to be nominated for the President and PM Narendra Modi reportedly asked Khattar to meet Jagan and gain confidence.
Since Khattar is one of the close aides to PM Modi, the Haryana CM planned to meet Jagan in his Vizag tour. But surprisingly it’s Jagan who reached out to Khattar and their meeting has garnered political significance.
The YCP insiders did not acknowledge the reports of Jagan and Khattar meeting but they added that both CMs will be discussing projects related to both the states and explore opportunities in various fields.
Jagan’s YCP is the third largest party in Lok Sabha after BJP and Congress with 22 seats and definitely the party’s votes do really matter in the Presidential elections. Will Jagan support BJP’s candidate?
