7 Promises Made By Lokesh In 700 Km Padayatra

Nara Lokesh is aggressively doing his Padayatra Yuva Galam. On Thursday, Lokesh crossed the 700 km milestone. The yatra began on 27th January in Kuppam. The distance was covered over a period of 55-days. Throughout the yatra, public-interaction is the main agenda. During this yatra, Lokesh made promises to the public. Take a look at the 7 key promises Lokesh made for these 700 kms. 

100 KM – Bangaru Palyam 

Lokesh started his Yuva Galam padayatra with the objective ‘Pragathiki Punadi Rallu – Yuvagalam Milu Rallu’. At the 100 km milestone at Bangaru Palyam in Chittoor district, Nara Lokesh vowed to start a dialysis centre with his own funds after TDP comes back to power. 

200 KM – Karvetinagar

A week later, Lokesh’s Yuva Galam yatra touched the 200 km milestone at Karvetinagar in the same Chittoor district. Learning that there is no degree college in the area, Lokesh promised to set-up a degree college in the locality.

300 KM – Srikalahasti 

Lokesh completed his 300 KM yatra at temple town Srikalahasti. He vowed to start a drinking water scheme in the area catering to 13 villages that would fulfill their needs of drinking water.

400 KM – Chandragiri 

Chandragiri is Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s birth place. Thus, Lokesh has an emotional connection with this place. Incidentally, Lokesh’s yatra entered 400 KM at Chandragiri where he promised to set-up a Primary Health Centre with a 10-bed facility.

500 KM –  Madanapalli

Lokesh turned emotional in Madanapalle constituency where his Padayatra touched the 500 KM milestone mark. Lokesh listened to the woes of Tomato farmers. After being moved by their problems and having tears in his eyes, Lokesh promised to set up a Tomato Processing Unit and also a Cold Storage in Madanapalle.

600 KM  – Kadiri

Kadiri is famous for Anjayaneya Swamy temple. People across the state visit Kadiri to offer prayers at this powerful temple. Upon touching his 600 KM mark in Kadiri, Lokesh promised to set up a Temple Tourism Circuit in Kadiri constituency.

700 KM – Penukonda

Lokesh completed 700 KM padayatra in 55 days at Penukonda constituency. He unveiled the milestone at Gatturu. Taking a selfie at Kia manufacturing plant, Lokesh proudly claimed that the company unit was facilitated in the state by his father and then CM Chandrababu Naidu. Lokesh assured to fulfill the drinking water needs of Madakasira people. He promised to complete pending works of lift irrigation related to Handri Neeva canal. It was Chandrababu Naidu who had inaugurated Gollapalli reservoir at Penukonda earlier.
