BRS Party Fund Touches Rs 1,250 cr

Telangana CM and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) boss K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that his party has a fund of Rs 1,250 crore, including Rs 767 crore bank deposits, and that it yields an interest of Rs 7 crore per month.

Speaking at the BRS Foundation Day, KCR said that the interest earned from the funds is being spent on expenses for running the BRS party, construction of party offices in districts and campaigning.

On October 21, 2021, during the plenary of the TRS, KCR said that the party had FDs worth Rs 425 crore, and that they were getting an interest of Rs 2 crore per month.

In the BRS meeting, a resolution was passed stating that the party president would take care of the financial affairs of the party which also includes opening bank accounts in other states, etc.

On May 4, the BRS party office will be opened in Delhi.

The party has also decided to run TV advertisements and also get into production of films in the future to take the party to the masses across the country. The party meeting also passed a resolution that it will also open a TV channel, if necessary.
